These terms govern your use of PoppyVideo ("the service"). By using the service you agree to them. The short version: be an adult, be decent, and remember there's a real person on the other side of the camera.

1. Eligibility

The service is strictly for people aged 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live, if higher). By entering the service you confirm that you meet this requirement. We may refuse access or terminate accounts where we have reason to believe this is not true.

2. Nature of the Service

PoppyVideo provides a platform for live, one-on-one video conversations between adults. It is a virtual social service: we provide the technology that connects people, but we are not a party to the conversations themselves and do not control what participants say or do. Interactions are between you and other users at your own discretion and risk.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not:

  • Record, screenshot, or redistribute another user without their explicit consent.
  • Harass, threaten, demean, or impersonate anyone.
  • Share or request illegal content of any kind, including any content involving minors.
  • Use the service for fraud, solicitation of money, or commercial spam.
  • Attempt to disrupt, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service.
  • Present yourself as under 18, or allow anyone under 18 to use the service through you.

4. Moderation and Enforcement

We provide report and block tools in every conversation and review reports through human and automated moderation. Where these terms are violated, we may remove content, suspend features, or terminate accounts, with or without warning, at our discretion. We may also preserve and disclose information where required by law.

5. Your Content and Conduct

You are responsible for what you say, show, and share on the service. You retain whatever rights you hold in your own content; you grant us only the limited permission needed to transmit it as part of running the service.

6. Disclaimers and Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we make no promises about the conduct of other users. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PoppyVideo is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including interactions with other users. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with its "last updated" date, and continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance.
